Just to start this is book 2 and book 1 must be read before to understand as it’s a continuation from book 1。 In book 1 we meet calliophe （FMC） who works for a company called M。A。D （monster acquisition division） and she’s currently investigating missing mortals， protecting people from hybrids and stopping the monsters from harming the magical/ supernatural community， she’s also working to find 2 people who have gone missing （part of the bigger story） but alot of things happen in book 1 and I don Just to start this is book 2 and book 1 must be read before to understand as it’s a continuation from book 1。 In book 1 we meet calliophe （FMC） who works for a company called M。A。D （monster acquisition division） and she’s currently investigating missing mortals， protecting people from hybrids and stopping the monsters from harming the magical/ supernatural community， she’s also working to find 2 people who have gone missing （part of the bigger story） but alot of things happen in book 1 and I don’t want to spoil it for others so please read first。We move on to book 2 which starts off straight from the end of book 1 which was left on a MAJOR cliffhanger。 calliophe has undergone a huge transformation at the beginning of this book and she’s struggling with dealing with it all， this also includes her feelings toward Emerson （MMC） and certain betrayals and information she’s received throughout both books。 All through this book we learn a few extra pieces to the puzzle that was introduced in book 1 and can see a bigger picture forming， ofcourse there is a giant cliffhanger at the end but the world building in this book was amazing！ I really loved these books and I’m actually sad that I’m going to have to wait so long for the next book。This is a slow burn 🔥 but definitely has a great story line that keeps it interesting。It’s a definite 5/5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 。。。more

I devoured this book in 6 hours， it was that good。 This is a great continuation to Calliophe's story， and holy crap I love her and Emerson。 I can't wait for them to get their happiness。After the cliffhanger from the first book left me screaming， I was so glad I could jump right into this one to find out what happened next。 The Fae Prince certainly is a tricky one。 I'm glad Calli could make new friends and find out who she can still trust with her new fae life。The development of the plot grabs yo I devoured this book in 6 hours， it was that good。 This is a great continuation to Calliophe's story， and holy crap I love her and Emerson。 I can't wait for them to get their happiness。After the cliffhanger from the first book left me screaming， I was so glad I could jump right into this one to find out what happened next。 The Fae Prince certainly is a tricky one。 I'm glad Calli could make new friends and find out who she can still trust with her new fae life。The development of the plot grabs you and there were a couple of moments where I went， "that makes total sense now，" or "I bet this is where this is going。" Totally vague for no spoilers， of course。The ending of this book had me screaming again， and now I'm mad I have to wait for the next book while also itching to get my hands on it and so excited this story doesn't end in a trilogy。 While also dreading the fact that it isn't a trilogy and I'll have more waiting to do。 A true sign of a great series， looking forward to the next book！ 。。。more
